Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 42918:

Minerals Species: Vanadinite, Pyromorphite, Mottramite.
Location of mineral deposit: Allah Cooper (Valcooper) Mine, Contrary Creek District, near Mineral, Louisa County, Virginia.
Description: Green hexagonal pyromorphite crystals up to 1.0 mm long on lustrous black mottramite microcrystals with a streaks and a broad area on one end of orange hexagonal vanadinite crystals up to 0.1 mm. The crystals grew in a constricted vein preventing complete crystal development. Most visible crystals are complete and undamaged. Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x7x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 1.0 mm.
