Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 45570:

Minerals Species: Barite on Manganite.
Location of mineral deposit: Lucy Mine, Negaunee, Marquette County, Michigan.
Description: Bladed white barite crystals to 15 mm on dark metallic manganite matrix with a few lustrous manganite crystals to 6 mm visible around the edges where the barite does not cover them. The crystals grew in a constricted vein preventing complete crystal development. Most visible crystals are complete and undamaged. Ex. Mitch Gunnell; ex. Calvert.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x5.5x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-15 mm.
Price: $225 (plus shipping).
