Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 47036:

Minerals Species: Fluorite with Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Rosiclare Sub-District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Corner of a transparent cubic fluorite crystal 69 mm across with two sides overgrown with transparent brown calcite crystals with hexagonal form and rhombohedral (nail-head) terminations. The fluorite is yellow with purple outer zones. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification. Collected ca. 1980.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x7x6.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-69 mm.
Price: $125 (plus shipping).
