Minerals Species: Quartz var. Smoky.
Location of mineral deposit: Cristalina, Goias, Brazil.
Description: Large transparent smoky quartz crystals that are flawless in the upper halves of the crystals. These smoky quartz crystals have large, well defined S (2111) and X (6151) corner faces that are uncommon in quartz crystals. The main crystal is undamaged. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few show damage upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 17x11x8 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 7-17 cm.
