Minerals Species: Apophyllite-(KF) on Stilbite-Ca.
Location of mineral deposit: Momin Akhada, near Rahuri, 50 km north of Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India.
Description: Unusual specimen of prismatic lustrous green apophyllite crystals up to 18 mm long in a radiating formation on translucent tan-colored stilbite crystals to 9 mm long from the famous find encountered when digging a well. All crystals are complete and undamaged except one that is chipped.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8.5x7x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-18 mm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
