Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 49918:

Minerals Species: Uvite Tourmaline and Magnesite on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Brumado District, Serra das Éguas, Bahia, Brazil.
Description: Several lustrous dark-green translucent uvite tourmaline crystals to 13 mm on a transparent, colorless quartz crystals 92 mm long with colorless rhombohedral magnesite crystals to 4 mm. The uvite has dominant terminations with minimal prism faces (flat). No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x3x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-92 mm.
Price: $325 (plus shipping).
